About the Program
We'll come out to you to train your dog or puppy! You have the choice for us to train your dog at your home and around your neighborhood with your dog for an hour or for us to take them on a training adventure that lasts at least 1 hour long. We will take your dog to different places to train at pet-friendly stores, parks, and more to practice training and socialization. Dog Day Training is an excellent alternative to dog daycare to stimulate and tire your dog's brain!
We are happy to work with you to find custom dog training solutions for your specific dog or puppy! Whether you are looking for socialization, focus/recall, impulse control, better manners, loose leash walking, basic obedience skills, or confidence building, we are here to help you and your dog! Dog Day Training can also be an excellent option for people looking for help with leash aggression or dogs who become overly aroused or frustrated on walks.
Our Dog Day Training packages also include a 30-minute virtual or in-person session halfway through or after your sessions are complete to discuss how to continue training into the future!
Our Training Methods
Our trainers are certified AbsoluteDOGS Pro Dog Trainers who use rewards, positive reinforcement, and fun concept games to teach dogs that it's fun and "a good deal" to listen to their people! We never use e-collars, prong collars, or any correctional tool that is designed to use pain to create compliance/fear from a dog. Instead, we use training techniques that are the recommended by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists (ACVB), the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB)!
